Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood who made a comeback to the Australian side in the third ODI against India at Bangalore and picked up 1-55 in the outing, now wants to continue his white ball form and make it to Australia's T20 World Cup squad after missing out on the ODI World Cup last year in England.

Even though this was his first ODI in 14 months, Hazlewood who has not played a T20 for Australia since the last shortest-form World Cup in 2016, hopes to make it to the squad for T20 World Cup in 2020.

But, the right-arm pacer will help his chances of getting selected as he returns to BBL (Big Bash League) with Sydney Sixers after he went for just 4.6 runs an over in his first two domestic T20 games this summer.

You don't often get that period of white-ball cricket in a row. I want to try and get back in the team and cement myself in there. It's been a while since those periods,” Hazlewood told AAP.

Hazlewood has 8 wickets to his name in 7 T20Is at an average of 33.62 and a strike rate of 21.

Thus, it will be interesting to see which pacers Australia decides to go with in the upcoming T20 World Cup at home.
