India registered their first win of the T20 World Cup 2021 on Wednesday (November 3), after defeating Afghanistan by 66 runs. They still have two more matches to go, but their hopes for a semi-final spot now depend on whether Afghanistan beat New Zealand or not, considering the Blackcaps beat Namibia.

Indian spinner R Ashwin has jokingly offered Afghanistan help ahead of their match against New Zealand. They had missed leg-spinner Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman against India due to injury, and Ashwin, in the presser, said he can arrange a physio for the injured Afghan spinner.

"I really wish if we could provide any physio support to Mujeeb, we can get him on the field. That is all we can hope for," Ashwin said on a lighter note.

Afghanistan's star spinner Rashid Khan read Ashwin's quote and dropped a comment on Twitter. He wrote that their physio Prasanth Panchada is looking after him very well and Ashwin shouldn't worry about it.

"@ashwinravi99 Bhai Don’t worry our team Physio Prasanth Panchada “Chusukuntunnaru” ????????????," tweeted Rashid and added a Telugu word.

Ashwin couldn't stop laughing after reading Rashid's response as they both know how important is the clash between Afghanistan and New Zealand.

To qualify, Afghanistan will also have to defeat the Kiwis by a big margin and hope for India to lose against Namibia, or expect them to not take over their net run rate.
