India defeated the Proteas in opening T20I by 28 runs and it was possible because of a good bowling performance by visitors. They had put up a par score on a batting friendly pitch. But the bowlers did well to restrict South Africa way below the target.

Pandya was trying hard to get under Miller's skin. He bowled a short delivery first up and it sailed way over the head of the southpaw. Dhoni, who caught the ball with ease, looked disappointed with the bouncer. He gestured Pandya to focus and bowl one on the good length.
