India defeated South Africa in the first T20I encounter after thrashing them in the ODI series by 5-1. The visitors managed to continue their successful run in the limited overs series after facing defeat in Test series.

All eyes were on the comeback man Suresh Raina, who was playing for India again after a year. Though the return of Raina didn't last long; his arrival was as good as it gets.

Raina, smashed a short delivery into the crowd and left the viewers glued to their TV screen. No wonder many fans were even hoping for a big innings from Raina, who was promoted at the number 3 spot.

The camera even caught the Indian dressing room rejoicing to the occasion. Virat Kohli, who was sitting in the pavilion, couldn't help but look in awe of Suresh Raina's six and applauded it thoroughly.

Dane Paterson had received the punishment in the third over of the innings. It was the fifth ball of the over as Raina picked up a length delivery and flat-batted it for six, high over deep midwicket.

However, he could only score 15 runs, but his intent had surely impressed the Indian skipper. The team would be expecting something big from Suresh Raina in the rest of T20I series.
