Team India completely steam rolled the South African team in the six match ODI series, winning it by a margin of 5-1.
India won the last ODI in triumphant fashion by 8 wickets, as Virat Kohli smashed his 3rd century of the series and 35th century of his ODI career to end with over 550 runs in the series, a new record for King Kohli.
The other reason why India were such dominant in the series was their spin twins Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, who picked up 33 wickets together in the series and completely outfoxed the South African batting unit. Shikhar Dhawan was also responsible for giving India quick starts and scored a century in his 100th ODI, the only Indian to do so and Rohit Sharma hit his 17th century to bring some joy to his disappointing South African sojourn.
