SA v IND 2018: 6th ODI – India looking for a dominating end to the series, as South Africa looks to save face

India has won the bilateral ODI series for the first time in South Africa.

India will be looking at these top three to give them a big start

South Africa and India will be battling it out in the 6th and final ODI at Centurion. India has already pocketed the series after gaining an unassailable lead over the hosts.

India has been on a roll barring the one loss, mostly dependent on the exploits of Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. These players have contributed the most to India’s 4-1 lead so far.

South Africa on the other hand, still hasn’t found any answers to the questions posed by Kuldeep and Chahal. Barring the rain hit ODI; South African batting has looked extremely fragile in front of the two wrist spinners from India.

South Africa will expect India to make some changes in the playing XI, keeping in mind the T20I series and India on the other hand will want to stamp their authority with another dominating performance, in what has been an extremely rejuvenating series for the team, after the Test debacles.

Toss: India won the toss and opted to bowl.

Playing XI:

India: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli(c), Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni(w), Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal
South Africa: Hashim Amla, Aiden Markram(c), AB de Villiers, Khaya Zondo, Farhaan Behardien, Heinrich Klaasen(w), Chris Morris, Andile Phehlukwayo, Imran Tahir, Morne Morkel, Lungisani Ngidi
