Team India sealed the ongoing six-match ODI series against South Africa by recording a thumping 73-run victory in the fifth ODI at St George's Park, Port Elizabeth on Tuesday (February 13).

The Men in Blue have been clinical throughout the ODI series, be it with the bat, ball or the banter. Most importantly for India, their skipper Virat Kohli has led from the front. The Indian captain has aggregated a total of 429 runs in 5 innings at a remarkable average of 143 in the ODI series thus far. Kohli has been adjudged Match of the Match for notching up his 33rd and 34th ODI ton in the first and third match respectively.

Besides having an incredible series with the willow, Virat hasn’t shied away from giving it back to the Proteas. Renowned for his aggressive nature, Kohli often got involved with quite a few South African players during the series to produce some entertaining banter.

During the fifth ODI at Port Elizabeth yesterday, the Indian captain was seen involved in a fun banter with South Africa spinner Tabraiz Shamsi, who happens to be his former RCB teammate. Shamsi had a go at Virat with his tongue in cheek remarks when the latter was batting. Although Kohli did react to Shamsi’s antics while batting, the real entertaining moment came when Tabraiz came out to bat later in the match.

“Chest pad? Shammo (Shamsi), you have a chest pad on?,” Kohli was heard saying to Shamsi through the stump mic.
