India went to the field in the 4th ODI with the belief of winning their 1st ODI series ever in South Africa but bad weather, multiple interruptions and some hard hitting by the SA batsmen turned the match in favour of the Proteas. The action now shifts to Port Elizabeth with the two teams set to lock horns at the St George's Park. India has never won a ODI at this venue but they can take heart from their performance in the first 3 ODI’s and make this a memorable ODI for them.

Best economical pick – Kuldeep Yadav proved to be the kingpin for the visitors in this ODI series. He took 2 important wickets and the last match to take his tally to 12 wickets for this series. When the spinners were getting hit out of the park he still managed to keep his calm and invite the batsmen with his tempting deliveries.

Top captains & vice captains – Virat Kohli was the second best batsmen for his side in the last match. His partnership with Dhawan was laying the foundation for a big score but unfortunately the middle order couldn’t keep up the momentum. AB De Villiers returned to the squad for the 4th ODI after his injury layoff. Though he got out cheaply in the match but he started off well with a 18 ball 26 runs. AB is one of those rare South African batsmen who have the ability to pick the wrist spinners out of their hands and will be very crucial in SA’s effort to keep this series alive.

Smart pick – Heinrich Klaasen has grabbed his opportunity after Quinton de Kock got injured and emerged as the new Pink-Day hero. He was in a good form in the domestic matches and did justice to it by playing a match winning innings at this international level. His unbeaten 43 of 27 balls and a crucial partnership with Miller sealed the match for SA. HE is a handy option down the order.

Cautious Pick – There is no doubt about the talent of Rohit Sharma but he hasn’t really flourished till now in this tour. His highest score till now in this ODI series has been 20. As the team was winning with Kohli and Dhawan giving some consistent performance it was not much of a concern. But with 2 matches left it is high time for Rohit Sharma to display his batting beauty to ensure India gets their 1st ODI series win in SA.

My XI – Virat Kohli (Captain), AB De Villiers(Vice-Captain), Y Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Lungi Ngidi, Chris Morris, Shikhar Dhawan, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya.
