Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian left-handed opener is playing his 100th ODI against South Africa in Johannesburg. Celebrating the occasion, Suresh Raina has tweeted his best wishes for him.

In a tweet, Raina wrote "99 not out.. My best wishes to the Gabbar of #TeamIndia for his 100th ODI match today. May you have a great match today. Celebrate it with a century, @SDhawan25. Congratulations brother.@BCCI".

Dhawan joins a league of elegant left-handers who has played 100 or more ODIs for India.  Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and  Suresh Raina himself. Dhawan is also closing  in on 4500 ODI runs for India.

Dhawan made his ODI debut against Australia back in 2010. Since then he has notched up over 4000 ODI runs and scored 12 ODI tons. A naturally attacking left-handed opener, Dhawan has been one of the mainstays of the Delhi line-up for a long time and forms an impregnable top-order along with Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag, scoring runs by the barrel along with them. He was rated quite highly by experts for his ability to dig in and play the big innings.

Here is what Raina tweeted.
