SA v IND 2018: Shikhar Dhawan gets furious on Virat Kohli; Twitter had fun

The incident happened in the first ODI between India and South Africa.

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was left furious after a misunderstanding between him and skipper Virat Kohli cost him his wicket in the 1st ODI at Durban. It was only the second time Dhawan was run-out in his ODI career. Interestingly, both times Kohli was at the other end.

The southpaw was dismissed for 35 runs from 29 balls. The incident happened in the 13th over of India’s chase with Chris Morris bowling to Dhawan. The India opener was struck on the pads and as South Africa appealed for lbw, Dhawan was slowed down in his response to a Kohli’s shout for stealing a quick run. With Kohli more than halfway down the pitch, Dhawan had no choice but to run for it. He, however, gave up in the middle as Aiden Markram was spot on target.

The left-hander was upset with Kohli's push for the run. Later, Dhawan was also seen having a heated chat with batting coach Sanjay Bangar.
