India is on a verge of another series defeat on the land of Proteas. Chasing a difficult total of 287, India lost three wickets in the process by the end of day four in Centurion.
After bowling out the hosts for 258 in the second innings, India got off to a poor start as they lost both openers quickly. Murali Vijay was the first one to go as he was cleaned up by Kagiso Rabada while KL Rahul played an awful shot to throw away his wicket.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the best hope for an Indian comeback in the chase, but he couldn't do much as Lungi Ngidi got one to nip back into him and trapped him LBW. As soon as India lost Kohli, whole social media lost hope of an Indian win.
Even former India batsman Mohammad Kaif expressed his disappointment. "Unfortunately it's all over. Kohli gone, India gone," Kaif tweeted.

India still needs 252 runs to win the second Test and to avoid a series defeat, having lost the first Test at Newlands, Cape Town by 72 runs. They still have Cheteshwar Pujara and Parthiv Patel in the middle.
Kaif, earlier felt that India had a very good chance in winning the Test match, after bowling out South Africa. "Have a feeling this is going to be a cracking run chase. 287 to get , once you get in you need to make it count. We have a chance," he wrote.
