Indian skipper Virat Kohli was left furious when the game was stopped during the 3rd session of Day 3 of the second Test between India and South Africa. India was getting a shift in momentum towards them but umpires pulled out their light-meter and halted the game. 

An angry Kohli marched off right into the match referee Chris Broad's cabin. He was clearly unhappy with something that couldn't be immediately ascertained.

The skipper was seen wringing his hands in frustration before it was learned he had gone complaining to Broad about the wet outfield. R Ashwin had trouble gripping the ball. He then walked back to the field and had a word with the umpires.

The light had clearly improved but the play did not resume. "The outfield was wet," Jasprit Bumrah said after the end of the second day's play. "The ball was wet and we told the umpires about it. There was no movement". 

India managed to pick two quick wickets of South Africa in the second innings. But AB de Villiers and Dean Elgar stitched up a good 100-run stand to take South Africa in a safe position. De Villiers was dismissed on 80 runs.
