India has clawed their way into the game beautifully after dismissing South Africa for 130 runs in the second innings on the 4th day.
3rd day of the Test was marred by rain and when the sun shined on the fourth day, Indian bowlers made life difficult for the Proteas batting. Hashim Amla was the first to go to, as Shami got him to edge to Rohit Sharma for 4. Shami then removed Rabada for 5 and Bumrah got into act removing captain Du Plessis (0) and keeper De Kock (8). AB de Villiers tried to make some quick runs as he ran out of partners and was the last to get out for 35 runs. South Africa managed to get a lead of 207 runs.
Bumrah took 3/39, while Shami took 3/28 with assist from Bhuvneshwar (2/33).
Twitter was in amazement as Indian bowlers put India in the driver’s seat and tweeted to their heart’s content.
Here are some of the tweets:
Wowzaaa.. What a top feeling to be boasting of such fast bowling from Indian pacers.. Sure 208 won't be easy on this pitch, but it's probably India's best bet to eye history. What a turn around.. Game On #IndvSA
