Team India will play the first Test match at Cape Town from January 5th. The team was supposed to play a two day practice game at Boland, but the Indian team management changed the schedule to scrap the match for extra days of practice sessions.
However, consistent rain has marred Team India’s preparations in Cape Town. They had to shift from outside to the indoor nets near the Newlands Stadium. Team India has never won a Test series in South Africa and their best result was a 1-1 draw in 2013-14 series.
This time however the Indian team is confident of doing much better and even winning the series thanks to a better army of fast bowlers in the squad.
Rohit Sharma, who made a triumphant comeback into the Indian Test team against Sri Lanka, was at hand to take the camera person on the tour of the Indian practice session in the indoor nets. BCCI uploaded the video of Rohit Sharma touring the indoor practice facilities on their website.
