Wiaan Mulder is all set to return to action, as the rising all-rounder, on Tuesday (January 29), has been added to the South Africa squad for the fifth and final One Day International against Pakistan to be played at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town on Wednesday (January 30).

Since September last year, the 20-year-old has been out of action after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury during a limited-overs series against Zimbabwe. However, the all-rounder has now completed his rehabilitation earlier this month and ready to spread his magic in international cricket.

The right-hander made a sounding comeback for his domestic franchise Lions in the 4-Day competition, cracking a career-best 146 against Knights last week, which earned him a place for Pakistan ODI.

Meanwhile, it is learned Mulder is in the frame to fill the vital no. 7 allrounder's position in the South African one-day side ahead of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup to be played in England and Wales.

Noteworthy, the all-rounder is also in line to make T20 International debut, as he has also been named in South Africa's T20I squad against Pakistan, starting from 1st February.

After being thrashed out by 8 wickets in the fourth ODI by Pakistan to level the five-match series, South Africa would be certainly looking to win the Centurion clash.
