Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed took time off to meet South African all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo to personally apologize for his racist comments in Durban ahead of the third One Day International of the five-match series on Friday (January 25).

Sarfraz was caught passing racist comments to Phehlukwayo during the second ODI, and since then he has been heavily criticized by many cricketers and fans across the world.

However, Pakistan skipper has already apologized for his racial abuse directed at Phehlukwayo on social media, but Sarfraz felt better to meet the all-rounder and end the matter on a good note.

Before the third ODI to be played on Friday at SuperSport Park, Centurion, Sarfraz met Phehlukwayo and apologized to the all-rounder and even said that he has "accepted" his apology.

Meanwhile, the Captain has shared a picture of himself with Proteas all-rounder on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “This morning I apologised to Andile Phehlukwayo and he was gracious enough to accept my apology. And I hope the people of South Africa also accept my apology.”
