Pakistan selectors have announced an unchanged 15-man squad on Tuesday (November 27) for the third and final Test against New Zealand to be played in Abu Dhabi from December 3, given another life-line to struggling opener Mohammad Hafeez and off-spinner Bilal Asif to prove themselves.

Pakistan has decided to go ahead with the winning combination for the series decider in Abu Dhabi after leveling the series against the Black Caps by massively winning the second Test by an innings and 16 runs in Dubai on Tuesday. While New Zealand won the first Test by four runs in Abu Dhabi last week.

Hafeez has been struggling with the willow ever since scoring a hundred on his comeback Test against Australia in Dubai last month, as he has managed just 66 runs in six innings, while his scores 20, 10 and 9 reads in the first two Tests against the ongoing New Zealand series.

On the other hand, Asif has not impressed much with the ball after taking six wickets against Australia in Dubai last month, as he has managed just five wickets in the last three Tests, including against Kiwis.

Reportedly, the dashing Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman is still recovering from a knee problem following his impressing Test debut against Australia in the UAE.

Pakistan Squad:
Sarfraz Ahmed (captain), Mohammad Hafeez, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Saad Ali, Yasir Shah, Bilal Asif, Mohammad Abbas, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, Mir Hamza
