New Zealand saw a huge collapse against Pakistan on Monday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. If you took a loo break in the middle of New Zealand's innings thinking they have got a good start of 50/0, you would have probably missed their innings.
It was magic of the Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah who returned with a figure of 8/41. Kiwis went 90/10 from 50/0. The visitors had no clue what just happened to them. In no time, they had to bat again after the hosts enforced the follow-on.
Six of the New Zealand batters returned without a single run. Overall, eight batsmen couldn't reach the double figures.
The outstanding bowling display impressed another star spinner from Asia, Rashid Khan. The Afghanistan stalwart couldn't resist but lauded the Pakistan spinner who also picked up 10 wickets on Monday overall.
“Congratulations @Shah64Y 8-41 absolutely pleasure to watch him wish you more success ahead,” Rashid wrote in his tweet.
