PAK v NZ 2018: WATCH- Ross Taylor's embarassing moment when he couldn't connect to the easiest delivery ever bowled

Mohammad Hafeez was the bowler who delivered the ball and was embarrassed after it.

A juicy half-volley or a knee height full toss is two of the deliveries which no batsman wants to miss out. But what New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor failed to put away was even more tempting than those two deliveries.

During the first ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan, in an attempt to give flight to the ball, Mohammad Hafeez ended up tossing the ball too high that it was not even visible in the frame. It was an invitation for the batsman to come and send the ball back into the clouds. But unfortunately, Taylor, who was the striker, failed to even connect the bat to the ball. It was a funny miss by him. Even wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed was watching everything in disbelief.

However, in that game, Taylor was the top scorer. He scored 80 runs in 112 balls including five fours in his innings. He and Tom Latham had put up a partnership of 130 runs. The game was won by New Zealand after they set a target of 267, which looked way out of reach of Pakistan batsman as they were bundled out on just 218 runs inside 50 overs.

Here is the video of Hafeez's delivery:
