Shane Warne has lashed out at Australian batsmen for their poor show on Day 2 of the ongoing second and final Test against Pakistan on Thursday (October 17) at Abu Dhabi.

Tim Paine and his men suffered a batting collapse in the first innings, as the touring batters drastically failed to counter Pakistan’s bowling attack and bowled out for merely 145, which saw the hosts to take a massive 338 runs to lead in the final Test here.

However, Warne is happy with the performance of the Aussie bowlers, who have done a great job by dismissing Pakistan for 282 in the first innings to give a solid start to the touring side in the final encounter.

But it was the Australian batsmen who put the team on the back-foot at Abu Dhabi and got criticized by the spin legend for their inability to score the runs in the pressure situation, as they once again failed to build up partnership like the first Test after their top-order failed to stick there.

There was no Australian batsman who was able to cross the 40-run mark against the Pakistan bowlers, as the team was bundled out for a low total at Abu Dhabi.

Following the poor show of Aussie batsmen, Warne went on his official Twitter handle to criticize the batters and question the batting combination for the crucial Test against Pakistan.
