Not only Sarfraz's batting stance, his innings was also worth noticing.

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed came in rescue of his team after they suffered a mini-collapse on the first day of the second Test against Australia.

The Sarfraz-led side lost wickets in a cluster and they were five down on just 57 runs. Nathan Lyon was spitting venom but Ahmed and his batting partner Fakhar Zaman scored 94 each and took Pakistan to a fighting total of 282.

But more than his innings, what really impressed the Twitterati was his batting stance.

Here are some tweets regarding the same:

Sarfraz, after playing a match-saving knock for his team, said, "Yeah the pressure was there, definitely," said Sarfraz, who had made just 74 runs in his six previous Test innings. When all this happens and you score runs then it's a bit of relief and then to do it in a situation where you were 57-5 and in a really bad shape..."

Sarfraz said Pakistan had fought back admirably. "It's good that we scored 282 and then got two wickets, including that of Usman Khawaja because he can play long innings, so I think it has become even for both the teams now."
