The 2017-18 Nidahas Trophy had been in the news since its T20 International Tri-series opener whether be it for some heated exchanges between the players or some sizzling performances by the players.
However, the Tri-series has finished on 18 March –Indian won the breathtaking final encounter against Bangladesh and moved with the Nidahas Trophy to the country, but controversial news regarding the players, especially Bangladeshis’ has not come to end.
Previously, Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan were handed with demerit points following their breach of ICC's Code of Conduct during the series in Sri Lanka.
And now, a video has been appearing in the social media, in which Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad was seen kicked the railings of the staircase on his way to the dressing room following his dismissal in the final encounter against India on Sunday.
The incident took place during the Tigers' innings when Mahmudullah came to bat at No.6 and was seen in stable form and looking to play another master-class inning to help the side in putting a decent score on the board against Rohit Sharma's team.
However, everything was going in their favor as Sabbir Rahman and Mahmudullah stitched together a partnership of 36 runs off 25 balls. But the next off-cutter of Vijay Shankar created a horrible mess up between the due because Sabbir ran for a single and hurled down the wicket, though reached the batting crease, but Mahmudullah was late in reacting, eventually he was run-out.
Although, Mahmudullah controlled his anger on the field but failed to keep it to the dressing room and throw it on the railings of the staircase.
