India pulled off a historic win at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo by 4 wickets. Thanks to Rohit Sharma's 42-ball 56 and a memorable 29-run knock by Dinesh Karthik the Men in Blue stunned Bangladesh in a last ball thriller.

Karthik surely has doubled his fan base tonight after helping India crossing the line with a last-ball six.

Chasing a target of 167, India couldn't find momentum except for a healthy partnership between KL Rahul and Rohit. The game was heading towards a nail-biting finish after Bangladeshi bowlers kept bowling at a tight line and mixed it with their slower deliveries, avoiding Indian batsmen to find those boundaries easily.

India needed 34 off 12 and Karthik almost single-handedly achieved that target with a stunning 29* off eight balls.

Soumya Sarkar was asked to defend 12 runs in the last over. But Shankar's delicate four in the third man region and Karthik's unforgettable six on the last ball will surely give the Bangladeshi a sleepless night.

Earlier in the match, Bangladesh were put in to bat by Indian skipper Rohit. Except for Sabbir Rahman (77), no batsman posed a threat for Indian bowlers. Mehidy Hasan's 7-ball 19 ensured Bangladeshi bowlers get a decent score to defend. But it wasn't enough due to Karthik's last ball six.

Here is the video which every Indian fan can watch again and again:
