The final league match of the Nidahas Tri-series 2018 between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was a true nail biter, in which Bangladesh defeated the hosts Sri Lanka, to set up a finals date with India for 18th March, 2018.

During the celebrations in the Bangladesh dressing room, the door of the room was found to be shattered. However, after reviewing the footage, the Premadasa ground staff have conveyed to the match referee Chris Broad that he CCTV footage doesn't give any indications as to who caused damage to the visitors' dressing room door.

Ground management had been asked by Broad to check the CCTV footage to determine which player or official damaged the door. However on Saturday morning, he was informed that the CCTV doesn’t have the footage of the inside of the dressing room to find out exactly what took place.

The dressing room attendants suggested that a senior Bangladeshi player was responsible for the damage to the door, as he pushed it hard enough for the door to shatter. However, Broad dismissed the accounts of the third party and asked the venue officials to make the claim.

Cricbuzz.com has confirmed that the incident happened immediately after the winning six was scored by Mahmudullah and not afterwards during the celebrations.
