Bangladesh created history on Saturday as they chased down the target of 215 against Sri Lanka with two balls to spare. This was the fourth highest successful chase in the history of T20 internationals.

Mushfiqur Rahim played one of the finest innings played by a Bangladeshi batsman in the shortest format, that too while chasing a huge target. He remained unbeaten on 72 off 35 balls and hit the winning runs for his team. 

Bangladesh openers set the foundation for the chase as Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das struck quickfire 40's. Sri Lanka's fielding and bowled crumbled under pressure as the hosts couldn't control the run flow.

Earlier, Kusal Perera scored 74 and Kusal Mendis hit 57 as Sri Lanka piled up a massive total of 214/6, which didn't prove to be enough on the night.

Mushfiqur Rahim capped off his innings with a 'Nagin Dance' that will probably be remembered as much as the innings itself. Here is the video:
