The Indian cricket team registered their first win of Nidahas Trophy 2018 by beating Bangladesh on Thursday.
India chased down the 140-run target in 18.4 overs. It was Shikhar Dhawan again who played a solid innings. He and Suresh Raina added 68 runs for the third wicket while chasing a small target. Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper for this series, failed again with the bat. He could only manage 17 runs.
It was Jaydev Unadkat (3/38) and Vijay Shankar (2/32) who helped India to restrict Bangladesh below 150.
India's head coach Ravi Shastri is happy with the improvement. He shared a post on his Facebook wall warning the other two teams. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli also chipped in and commented on the post.
