The second match of the Nidahas tri-series 2018 saw India face Bangladesh. India was reeling after losing the first match against Lanka.

India won the toss and decided to chase and went in unchanged. Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar started good, but Unadkat got Sarkar out for 14 and Thakur got Tamim out, after Tamim had hit him for two fours.

Liton Das hit 34 in 30 balls and Sabbir Rahman hit 30 off 26 balls; as Indian bowlers, especially Vijay Shankar, Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal choked the Bangla batsmen during the middle and last overs.

Bangladesh crawled to 139/8 in 20 overs; as Unadkat picked 3/38 and Vijay Shankar picked 2/32 in their respective 4 overs.

Indian chase was hampered again by the wicket of Rohit Sharma falling for just 17 runs and Rishabh Pant for 7, both edging the ball on their wickets. But Shikhar Dhawan (55 from 43 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes) and Suresh Raina (28 off 27 balls) added 68 runs for the 3rd wicket.

It was enough for Manish Pandey (26* off 18 balls) to come in and finish the game.
