After winning the two Tests series New Zealand will look to carry the winning momentum into three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka that starts tomorrow in Mount Maunganui.

The 2019 ODI World Cup is just five months away so each and every game is very important and both teams will try their bench strength to find a balanced team and cause of this New Zealand will rotate their players especially pacers to keep them fresh. On the other hand, Sri Lanka has been struggling in this format for a long time and have lost 33 of 44 ODIs they played since January 2017 and Angelo Mathews' absence will hurt them more.
