KL Rahul is undergoing a brilliant purple patch with the bat. He scored centuries and important innings for India in recent matches against Australia and New Zealand. He even took over as the wicketkeeper when Rishabh Pant was ruled out due to concussion.
He even helmed the no.5 batting spot in the team recently and became only the second Indian wicketkeeper to score an ODI ton overseas. He scored a magnificent 112 in the third and final ODI in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday.
He received wishes from Shikhar Dhawan, who was ruled out of the tour due to a knee injury. “Well played and wonderful century bro keep going strong. The way you are batting, even if you go as 12th man you will score a ton,” Dhawan posted on Instagram.
