New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham and India's KL Rahul were seen having banter on the field during the third ODI on Tuesday. The on-field umpire had to come between the two cricketers to make sure things don't escalate.

But the good thing was both, Neesham and Rahul had a smile on their face which meant the words exchanged between them wasn't crossing the line.

Neesham gave a hilarious touch to his banter with Rahul on social media. He shared the picture and said they were playing Rock, Paper, and scissors on the field. "Paper, scissors, rock?", he wrote.

The Kiwi will be playing under Rahul in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) in April. He was picked by Kings XI Punjab in the recent IPL auction. Rahul responded to Neesham's tweet. He replied, "Let’s settle this in April."

India lost the three-match ODI series against New Zealand on Wednesday. Rahul scored a hundred in the last match, but the total of 296/7 was still not enough to avoid a whitewash.
