India pacer Shardul Thakur and New Zealand's Colin Munro crashed into each other during the second T20I in Auckland. The Kiwi opener was trying to steal a single on the second delivery of the sixth over when Shardul came in his way.

Thakur was on the pitch next second he came in contact with Munro. He was angry with the New Zealand batsman for changing his path, but it wasn't intentional.

Munro later said sorry to the bowler and also asked Shardul for a fist bump to things on a good note.

Shardul had a rough day with the ball as he went for 21 runs in 2 overs and picked up the wicket of Martin Guptill. While the other bowlers bowled with a good strike rate at Eden Park.

Having the option of sixth bowling option, skipper Virat Kohli used Shivam Dube to complete Shardul's over. Overall, Indian bowlers did a great job in restricting New Zealand at 132/5. Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Shami had an economy of under 6 after bowling full four-over quota.

In reply, Team India chased down the target with 15 balls in hand and seven wickets left. KL Rahul was picked Man of the match for his 57* runs innings.
