After playing consecutive series at home, Team India is in New Zealand to start a six-week-long tour with a five-match T20I series. Former Australia cricketer Dean Jones has predicted the winner of the series.

As per Jones, India has a better chance to defeat New Zealand. Although, India doesn't have a good record against the Kiwis in the shortest format. The men in blue tasted their first-ever T20I victory over the Blackcaps in 2017. Overall, in 11 matches, team India has won only three matches against them.

If India manages to win the series, this will be there first ever T20I series win in New Zealand. Jones believes India can break the jinx. "Can’t wait for tomorrow to watch @BLACKCAPS get SMASHED by @BCCI @imVkohli boys! It will be carnage", wrote the Aussie.

India is touring New Zealand after securing the ODI series against Australia at home. Their last T20I series was against Sri Lanka earlier this year at home which they won by 2-0.
