India wicket-keeper Sanju Samson was dealt a heavy blow as he was not included in the T20I squad of the Indian team which will play New Zealand in a series of five matches. This was highly disappointing given that he had played just his second match for India, a T20I against Sri Lanka after a period of five years.
He was included in the Indian team for limited-overs series against Bangladesh and West Indies, but only warmed the bench. Samson had made his debut in 2015 in a T20I against Zimbabwe and was hoping for a consistent run with Rishabh Pant failing to provide runs on a constant basis.
Now, he is part of the India A squad flying to New Zealand, knowing that, he has not been picked in the limited-overs senior team. He also posted a cryptic tweet which was a comma as if he was hinting that it isn't a full stop to his career and there will be more opportunities.

Earlier, in November last year, Samson had dropped a similar tweet. He posted an emoji after BCCI selectors choose to not pick him in limited-overs series against West Indies at home. Fans reacted to Samson's tweet which left everyone speculating his emotions behind the tweet.
