New Zealand beat India by 4 runs in the third and final T20I match at Seddon Park, Hamilton and clinched the three match T20I series by 2-1. On a batting surface India opted to bowl first but bowlers couldn't get early breakthroughs and openers Colin Munro and Tim Seifert gave a flying 80 runs start.
