India all-rounder Krunal Pandya was delighted to contribute in team's cause at Eden Park after the touring side leveled the three-match T20 International by winning the second match by seven wickets against New Zealand on Friday (8th February) in Auckland.

At Eden Park, Pandya finished with the match-winning figures of 3 for 28 in four overs to help India to bowl the Black Caps out at 158/8 which the Men in Green chased down with ease inside 18.5 overs.

However, the all-rounder had proved costly for India in the defeated first T20I, as he conceded 37 runs for just 1 wicket, but the left-arm spinner pulled up his socks and made the most of his variations to bamboozle the Kiwi batsmen, taking 3 scalps to win the man-of-the-match award in Auckland.

He took the all-important wicket of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, Colin Munro, and Daryl Mitchell to put behind the hosts in the virtual final T20I at famous Eden Park.

Following the match, Krunal said, “It felt really nice to contribute for the team. It's always special when you contribute to a win. The dimensions are quite different from Wellington, the straight boundaries were short and I had to adjust my length to it. Looking forward to the decider in two days' time.”

India will next play New Zealand in the third and final match of the tour -a T20I series decider to be played in Hamilton on February 10 (Sunday).
