NZ v IND 2019: Virat Kohli tweets Republic Day message for his fans after 2nd ODI win

Batting first, India had posted 324/4 thanks to fifties from Dhawan and Rohit and brilliant finishing touches by MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav. In reply, New Zealand surrendered in front of Indian spinners with Kuldeep proving to be a nemesis of the hosts, picking four wickets and Chahal picking two.

With one more game to be played at the same venue, Mount Maunganui; Virat Kohli will be looking forward to sealing the series with a win before he flies back home, handing the reins of Indian team over to Rohit Sharma for the last two ODIs and the three-match T20I series.  

Virat Kohli has praised the team for back to back clinical performances and since the win came on the 70th Republic Day of India, Kohli took to Twitter to leave a message for his fans and wished them on the Republic Day.
