NZ v IND 2019: Ambati Rayudu on Twitterati's target after another slow innings

Rayudu played a lot of dots at the wrong time during his innings.

India batsman Ambati Rayudu is getting criticized for the slow knocks. His fuzzy innings was blamed for wasting a good start by the Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. At one stage, India was looking good to score 350+, but they ended on 324.

When Virat Kohli got out scoring 43, India was 236 in 39 overs. It was on the Rayudu, the set batsman to keep the run-rate smooth, in fact, to up the ante, but he failed in doing so. MS Dhoni, we know, isn't someone who strikes from the first ball.

India could only score 35 runs in 44 balls between Virat departure and Rayudu's wicket in 46th over.

Fans were clearly disturbed by the run-rate being slowed down. India may have won the game easily by bowling out New Zealand on 234, but this flaw wasn't hidden from the fans.

Here is how the Twitter reacted to Rayudu's 49-ball 47 runs innings:
