South Africa pacer Dale Steyn will join the Kandy Tuskers squad for the inaugural season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2020. Steyn was recently active in the Indian Premier League 2020 and played for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The Twitter account of the franchise shared the news and wrote, "We are also thrilled to announce that one of the greatest bowlers of all time @DaleSteyn62 will join the Kandy Tuskers squad!".

They have also signed Zimbabwe batsman Brendan Taylor in the squad earlier. Tuskers suffered a blow after star players like Chris Gayle and Liam Plunkett pulled out of the tournament. 

The squad also features India players, Munaf Patel and Irfan Pathan for the LPL 2020. Pathan has already reached Sri Lanka to start preparing for the tournament which starts on November 26.
