Former India wicket-keeper batsman Vijay Dahiya backed MS Dhoni to continue playing despite age factor going against him. Dhoni will return in action in September during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, where he will lead Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The tournament was scheduled to be played from March, but the COVID-19 pandemic played a spoilsport.

It was also reported that Dhoni may return for the Indian cricket team in the T20 World Cup 2020 after IPL. But the ICC tournament got postponed to next year, and now we will get to see the 39-year-old playing in IPL only which is to be hosted in UAE.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, the Delhi Capitals' chief talent scout Vijay Dahiya spoke in favor of Dhoni and said, "I think if someone lives with him (MS Dhoni) for 30 years, then also that person doesn't know what MS Dhoni is thinking and what he's going to do next. That is MS for you."

"Whenever you're going to talk about Indian cricket, you'll definitely have a chapter or a mention as far as MS Dhoni is concerned. And with a character like him, he's not finished yet," the 47-year-old added.

Dhoni hasn't played any cricket match since the World Cup 2019. He had started training with CSK's camp ahead of IPL in March but had to return home urgently before lockdown.
