India taking on archrivals Pakistan is always an exciting spectacle for fans of both the countries. But since they haven’t played bilateral series against each other since 2012-13, this fixture has been limited to only ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup.

The BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, who has done some really good work for Indian cricket, recently announced that the Asia Cup 2020 will be held in Dubai in the latter half of the year with both India and Pakistan playing.

"Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and both India and Pakistan will play," Ganguly told reporters at the Eden Gardens before leaving for Dubai for the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting, to be held on March 3.

Ganguly then praised the Indian women’s team for winning all three matches of the Women’s T20 World Cup that too against Australia, New Zealand and Bangladesh that confirmed their semi-final berth.

They are playing some fantastic cricket and have qualified. Nobody is favorites in a world tournament. They are a good side, let's see where they finish,” the former India captain said.

The 47-year-old Kolkata based batsman then went on to back Virat Kohli and Co. to bounce back in the second Test as they are 1-0 down in this two-Test series. They have come back before. I'm sure they will bounce back again. There's still one Test remaining,” Ganguly added.
