India batsman Shikhar Dhawan posted a poetic tweet for his friend Rohit Sharma on Twitter. The tweet was dedicated to their on and off-field friendship.

Posing for the picture, Dhawan and Rohit are looking at each other, showing the strong bonding they share. 

"Yaari bhi ki yaari bhi nibhaayi, Khoob saare runs ki paari bhi nibhaayi.. Gabbar aur Hitman ???? #GabbarKeShabd @ImRo45," wrote Dhawan.

Shikhar was ruled out of the T20I and ODI series against New Zealand due to a shoulder injury that he sustained in the third ODI against Australia. He has now recovered, and currently a part of the D.Y.Patil T20 tournament.

Rohit also had to suffer because of injury. He missed out on a long-awaited Test series against New Zealand because of injury in the left calf during the fifth T20I.
