India legend Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid has once again made it to the news after he put on a superb all-round performance which helped the Mallya Aditi International School reach the semi-finals of the BTR Shield Under-14 Group I, Division II Tournament.

Samit was recently in the news for smashing two double centuries inside two months came up with another superb performance as his team made it to semifinals.

The 14-year-old Samit was at his best with the bat as well as with the ball as he played a splendid knock of 166 runs off 131 deliveries, an innings which consisted of 24 boundaries helped his side reach the total of 330 runs at the loss of five wickets in their quota of 50 overs.

Whereas with the ball in hand, Samit picked up 4 wickets and conceded just 35 runs as Vidyashilp Academy who were chasing a mammoth target of 331 runs were all-out for just 182 runs in 38.5 overs.

Apart from Samit, Anvay D also scored a crucial half-century and missed out on a well-deserved century by just 10 runs and while bowling, his teammate Dayan picked up three wickets to help their school reach the semis of the ongoing under-14 tournament.

Thus, it will be interesting to see how Samit performs in the final of this Under-14 tournament.
