The New Zealand cricket team has a poor record in super over. In the last T20I series against India, they lost two consecutive super overs which resulted in a 5-0 whitewash at home. Earlier, they lost the World Cup 2019 final after tying the super over. England was given the trophy for hitting more boundaries in the match.

The jokes about New Zealand and super over have got popular because of their record getting worse with time. Now, the International Cricket Council has come up with a solution for Kiwis.

New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham had shared a picture of his on-field banter with KL Rahul during the third ODI against India. He had jokingly said the two cricketers were playing 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' and there were no words exchanged.

Quoting the tweet of Neesham, ICC wrote this game can be a better alternative for super overs for New Zealand. "Perhaps we do this instead of super overs? ????‍♂️ ," they wrote.

It was a painful jibe at New Zealand's record in the super overs.
