Indian cricket greats Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh will auction off a signed stump from the 2011 Cricket World Cup during Sunday’s Bushfire Bash at Junction Oval in Melbourne.

The stump is from India's five-wicket victory over Australia in the quarter-final clash at Ahmedabad.

“Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh have each signed a stump from the 2011 ICC World Cup quarter-final against Australia – a match India won before going on to win the global event for the second time in their esteemed cricket history,” cricket.com.au reported.

In that quarter-final, Tendulkar hit 53 at the top of the order before Yuvraj played an unbeaten knock of 57 to help India overhaul the target of 261 with 14 balls to spare. Earlier, Yuvraj had also claimed two wickets for 44 runs in Australia’s innings and thus he was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.

The Bushfire Bash will be a 10-over-per-side contest, with a five-over powerplay, no bowling restrictions, and batters unable to get out from the first ball they face.

Captains Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist will lead star-studded sides, with legends such as Brian Lara and Wasim Akram also lending their support in a match that is set to raise much-needed funds for victims of the numerous bushfires that have devastated Australia across the summer.
