SL v WI 2020: West Indies set to tour Sri Lanka for first time since 2015

West Indies will be playing three ODIs and two T20Is against Sri Lanka.

West Indies who recently toured India for a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series in December is now scheduled to take on Sri Lanka in three ODIs and two T20Is in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Cricket just announced the schedule for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies which said that the visitors will arrive in Sri Lanka on February 10 and will be playing a couple of warm-up games on February 17 and 20 respectively.

The first warm-up game will be an unofficial encounter and in the second warm-up game in Katunayake, West Indies will take on a Board President's XI.

The first ODI of the three-match series will be played at Colombo SSC on February 22 whereas the second and third ODIs will be held in Hambantota and Kandy on February 26 and March 1 and only the first ODI of the three will be a day game.

After the ODI series, the touring side will take on two T20Is, both to be played at Kandy under floodlights on March 4 and 6.

The last time the two teams played in a bilateral series was in 2018 when Sri Lanka played three Tests in West Indies. Meanwhile, the West Indies side hasn't toured Sri Lanka since 2015, where they lost 3-0 in ODIs and drew the T20Is 1-1.
