Ehsan Mani to meet BCB chief Hassan in Dubai to convince Bangladesh for Tests in Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) still has not lost hope of persuading Bangladesh for a Test series in Pakistan, as the PCB Chief Ehsan Mani is now set to meet the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan in Dubai later this week to convince them to play atleast one Test n the country.

On Sunday (January 12), the BCB made it clear to PCB that they will visit Pakistan only for three-match T20 International series later this January and after this series, the board will decide about the Test tour of the country but at the moment, there is no chance of playing the proposed two Tests there.

Well, the PCB still hopes to convince the BCB to play at least one Test in January-February in Pakistan and for the same, Mani will meet BCB President Mr. Hassan on the sidelines of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Governance Review Committee meeting later this week in Dubai.

Following the meeting, the PCB will provide further updates on Bangladesh’s upcoming tour of Pakistan, as the BCB refused to play the full Test series in Pakistan owing to the recent tension in the Middle East between Iran and the United States.

A reliable source in the PCB told PTI that the PCB is trying to convince the BCB for at least one Test in Pakistan as well as “Mani will also seek a commitment from Hassan when Bangladesh will come and play the second Test in Pakistan.”
