"An amazing person and team man," Preity Zinta shares a post on Irfan Pathan's retirement

Pathan has played three years for Zinta-owned KXIP franchise in IPL.

All-rounder Irfan Pathan quit all forms of cricket on Saturday. Pathan last played a Test match for India in 2008. He has appeared in 29 Tests, 120 ODIs and 24 T20Is. 

Pathan may have played his last T20I against South Africa on October 2, 2012, but he continued to appear in IPL till 2017. Preity Zinta, the Kings XI Punjab franchise co-owner posted a picture and wrote a long tweet for Pathan.

The all-rounder was part of the KXIP squad in the first three IPL seasons. He also represented Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Rising Pune Super Giants, and Gujarat Lions. 

"I learned so many things about the game from you when IPL started. You have always been an amazing person and a team player. Thank you for the wonderful memories @IrfanPathan  All the very best for your second innings. Much love always ???????????????????????? #ting," wrote Zinta.

The first three IPL seasons were best for Pathan with the ball. He picked up 15, 17, and 15 wickets in each season for KXIP.
