Maldives' total ranks as the second-lowest women's T20 International score ever. Mali holds the unfortunate record of scoring the lowest total in having mustered only six against Rwanda in June this year.

Opting to bat first, the Maldives struggled badly. Seven of their eight runs came through wide deliveries bowled by the Nepal bowlers.

Opener Aima Aishath (1) got the only run with the willow, while her nine other teammates got dismissed for ducks in an innings which lasted 11.3 overs.

For Nepal, Anjali Chand returned with the remarkable bowling figures of 4/1.

Chasing that near non-existent target, Nepal openers Kajal Shreshtha and Roma Thapa took their team over the line in just seven balls.
