Jozi Stars v Paarl Rocks
In the 21st match of the MSL 2019, Jozi Stars faced off against Paarl Rocks at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Rocks won the toss and chose to field first.
Reeza Hendricks made 74, while Temba Bavuma made 37 and along with Van der Dussen’s 28* and 20* from Shoaib Malik took the team to 171/3. Isuru Udana picked 2/29 for Rocks.
In reply, Rabada’s 3/36 and Duanne Olivier’s 2/39 rocked the Rocks to 53/4 in 6 overs, but Sibonelo Makhanya made 63*in 47 balls and with 32 from Cameron Delport and 28 each from Kyle Verreynne and Udana, took the team to the victory with 5 wickets in hand and 4 balls to go.
Sibonelo Makhanya won the Man of the Match.

Cape Town Blitz v Tshwane Spartans
The 22nd match of the MSL 2019 was played between Cape Town Blitz and Tshwane Spartans. Blitz’s captain Quinton de Kock won the toss and chose to bat first. David Bedingham made 53 and Janneman Malan made 36, while Philander contributed 21* as Blitz put on 157/5 in 20 overs. Lungi Ngidi picked 2/30 for Spartans.
In reply, Dale Steyn rocked the top order of the opposition by picking the wickets of Elgar (5), Mulder (2) and the dangerous AB de Villiers (31) giving away just 10 runs in his 4 overs. Pite van Biljon made 62 and made things a bit closer in the last few overs, but Wahab Riaz’s 2/18 and one- wicket each from Livingstone and Magala kept the Spartans to 142/7 in 20 overs and Blitz won by 15 runs.
