Dale Steyn calls India's Mohammad Shami the best bowler in the world

Mohammad Shami has been excellent for India in recent times.

Mohammad Shami has been amazing for India in last two years | AFPDale Steyn might have recently retired from Test cricket owing to injuries and in order to prolong his career in international cricket in shorter formats. One of the greatest bowlers of all time, Steyn ended up with 439 wickets in 93 Test matches.

Steyn has been enjoying his time in the Mzansi Super League at the moment and recently did a question and answer session on Twitter during which he revealed the best bowler in world cricket at the moment.

Mohammad Shami has been a different bowler altogether when it comes to Test cricket in the last year or so. Since 1st December 2018, he has picked 45 wickets in 10 Test matches with the best bowling of 6/56 at an average of 18.42 and a strike rate of 38.8. He along with Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav, have wreaked havoc on opposition bowlers and helped India win Test series in Australia and West Indies and against South Africa at home recently.
